Opening and closing JEE (Advanced) ranks for admission to various academic programs of IITs/ISM for the years 2014 and 2013 can be viewed at Admissions > Seat allocation. This can give a general idea about the admission pattern in IITs/ISM.
 Similar data for NITs-IIITs-OtherGFTIs for admission in year 2014 can be viewed at  the CSAB 2015 site. 
Candidates should not rely on these data alone to make their final decisions for admission in 2015. Information about the programs (available in the JoSAA portal), and consultation with students and faculty familiar with the programs may help to make appropriate choices.

Question papers

• There are two question papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2.
• Each question paper will consist of three separate sections viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabi are given in SYLLABI.
• The question papers will consists of objective type (multiple choice) and numerical answer type questions designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
• Incorrect answers to some of the questions will be awarded negative marks.
• The question paper will be in either English or Hindi. Candidates must exercise the choice of question paper language while registering for JEE (Advanced) 2015. Change of question paper language will NOT be entertained after the registration.
